[Afterwords]
Ironically I read less comics once I entered the field. And the older I get, the less I can put up with the mainstream themes and tropes.
Fortunately over these years, I have been able to fill what I felt was missing with my own hands. And I consider myself lucky to have the steady support of others who share the same belief.
Many readers told me that they couldn’t understand my story when they were younger, but they understood a lot more once they grew older.
I’m also learning as I grow, which resulted in the style of this work. What I’m most proud of is not how long it will last or how great it will become… but how I think it gathered together a readerbase of Chinese comics that has the most character.
That is what I take pride in.
