Like most people, I also began to learn about Three Kingdoms as I enter Middle School age; encountering short readings like “Yang Xiu’s Death” or “Pre-Battle Memorandum” in the textbook. Honestly they were so boring I could only remember the beginning few sentences… But the funny thing is, the older I get, the more I became interested in that novel. So I must thank the encouraging effects of computer and video games about Three Kingdoms.
Everyone can retell stories from Three kingdoms, but it’s missing a book series prepared for the hardcore fans. That’s why for the sake of Three Kingdoms fans, Zhao Yun is here, Lü Bu is here, and even Jia Xu – that often overlooked brainiac from Romance of the Three Kingdoms, plus Ma Chao, whom I can’t wait to show you all!
